About the zine
Today & Tomorrow Too is a mini fill-in-the-blank zine meant to help you take care of yourself during hard days. There are 6 pages inside, each prompting you to make a short list of hard-day resources that are unique to your needs and situation. For example, one page prompts you to evaluate what responsibilities you are safely able to put off until you are feeling a little better, and another prompts you to list quick easy-to-access foods you have available. The goal of these lists is to take decision-making and life-evaluating pressures off yourself when you're stressed, depressed, or otherwise feeling sh*tty.
This is an updated version of an older zine I released in 2014, which I called a "self care menu". I don't love the way capitalism has chewed up and spit out our collective impression of what "self care" is, so with this redesign I've changed the language to better reflect my intention.
What you'll get
This listing is for a PHYSICAL COPY in the mail. You can choose between a pocket size folded zine or large-print booklet.
You can also purchase a digital copy of this zine to print yourself, if you prefer.
Re-printing & sharing
Print as many copies as you want for yourself, whenever your lists needs refreshing! I also recommend making a duplicate of your filled-out menu to give a loved one — it can help them check in on you & suggest the coping strategies that work best for you.
If a friend is interested in this zine for themselves, please link them to this listing or buy another copy for them. (But hey, honestly, if you have a friend in crisis who could use it ASAP, please go ahead print them a copy or email them the PDF, I'd rather they have a resource that helps them than quibble over a couple of bucks.)
Pay-what-you-wish
I offer all my pins and zines as pay-what-you-wish, with a minimum price set to cover my materials and time. Financially secure folks are encouraged to pay the suggested price or above, which will allow others with fewer $$ to pay less (while also allowing me to pay rent.)
Shipping
For the safety of closeted customers, items are shipped in discreet envelopes with no external branding. The return address on the package is a PO box and will simply read "Bren F."
This shop is run by a disabled & chronically ill creator, and the pace of order fulfillment reflects that. You can expect your order to ship within 5-10 business days of placement. There is no rush shipping available.
I set shipping prices as close as possible to the true cost, and shipping for additional items is adjusted! For example: if you buy one pin shipping will be around $3.60, and if you add a second pin shipping will only increase by by 50 cents. For a zine, shipping is $1 and additional zines ship free.
