About the zine
This pocket size 8-fold zine holds a set of 3 micro-erotica stories, entirely composed of photos and phrases clipped from issues of kayaking hobbyist magazines. I consider these stories to be linked — perhaps the three stories happen on the same camping trip with a group of friends/lovers who have escaped to the wilderness for a weekend of fun. The stories are all gender-neutral and open to your own imagination of the participants, and they are all kinky in some way (specifics listed lower in the listing, in case you don't want to be spoiled). This zine does NOT include explicit images.
Creation process
Paddl started out as a joke with myself, and ended up becoming a really fun and meaningful creative process. I got a stack of old outdoor sporting magazines from a neighbor to use as collage material, and kept giggling as I paged through the 90's kayaking mags because so many phrases had sexy or queer double meanings (paddling, stroking, cruising, tying up, you get the idea). I clipped hundreds of lines from around 7 magazines, thinking I could make a quick little jokey no-narrative zine about risqué kayaking. But when time came to assemble, I found myself caring a lot about the order of clippings, finding the lines that could tell a story, and stitching them together in a way that could elicit emotion. I hope you enjoy it!

The 1st story involves neoprene apparel, the 2nd story involves paddling and group play, the 3rd story involves voyeurism and public/outdoor encounters.

For the safety of closeted customers, items are shipped in discreet envelopes with no external branding. The return address on the package is a PO box and will simply read "Bren F."

I set shipping prices as close as possible to the true cost, and shipping for additional items is adjusted! For example: if you buy one pin shipping will be around $3.60, and if you add a second pin shipping will only increase by by 50 cents. For a zine, shipping is $1 and additional zines ship free.
